2. Human resources towards the Knowledge-based Society

2.1.

How to plan the future of the Internet in the light of the Lisbon Strategy (economic development, development of the human capital, development of the citizen...) towards a knowledge-based society ?

How can we promote cultural and linguistic diversities, as well as reinforce the respect of values, Ethics and Humans rights in the digital world ?

 

 

2.3.

 How can we ensure access for all to a society sustained by ICTs and to quality e-learning ? What is the impact of ICTs on the dynamics and models of training for young people as well as for life-long learning ?

 

 

2.4.

Is the network neutral ? Do technologies convey a system of thought or do they open the way to alternative systems of thought ? How can we implement these systems within the European legal framework?

The Internet is a living model, self-organized, self-regulated : how can we make it sustainable in the long term ?

How can the Internet be implemented as a tool for collaboration and interaction (for citizens, users communities, territories) in the organization of intelligent networks of actors, in order to develop the Knowledge Regions ?

 

 

3.3.

A paradigm shift in the Internet : how can we go from rarity to abundance, preserve open systems and interoperability and support innovation?

 

 

3.4.

How can we contribute to found international governance of the Internet on principles of balanced and shared sovereignty ? How can we sustain the contribution of all the stakeholders in high-level decision-making ?
