Declaration of Principles and in the Plan of Action as a problem of great relevance. Nicaragua believes it is urgent to fight the proliferation of ominous information and to remove of the reach of the young and of children all the material with a pornographic and xenophobe content or harmful for human being.

Nicaragua is in accordance with the protection of intellectual property and with the technical cooperation for development. Nicaragua approves the active participation of the aboriginal and of local communities to the information society, as well as the respect of cultural and linguistic diversity.
