The Republic of
Lebanon, affirms that,
although the new information technology allows the dematerialization and the
delocalization of the economic activity, favoring a better future for
underprivileged people, a huge asymmetry still remains between countries .
If the information society is being lead only by the laws of the market,
more inequalities will appear and, on a cultural level, it will function as
a threat, laminating the cultural diversity.
