Denmark, insists on the fact
that it is necessary to eradicate poverty, to activate economic growth and
social development, and to facilitate the access to the markets. In this
perspective, ICTs play an important role. The Denmark affirms that the lack
of education must be fought. Therefore, Denmark has launched education
programs with a special focus on Africa. Doubt and fear about what an open
and free Information Society can do remain in many countries. The Denmark
wants to underline that we should view the access to technology as a
question of “the power of people”.
The
Denmark has introduced a Knowledge Strategy for the Danish society specially
with eGovernment, eLearning, eBusiness, eHealth and eInclusion. It believes
that international co-ordination and co-operation should be strengthened in
order to avoid security incidents.
