The Republic of
Croatia focuses its attention
on the economic benefits of embracing the information society, specially for
less developed countries. Investing in information resources gives the
developing countries the opportunity to reduce the gap between them and the
developed countries. It is essential, for less developed countries, to
mobilize the adequate means to become part of the Information Society.
Croatia
also insists on the fact that, in the international plan, it is important to
ensure a redistribution of global resources in order to avoid the
concentration of information society only in the developed countries.
